Terms of service

YouLearnWithUs · Last updated: 2026-05-24

These terms govern your use of YouLearnWithUs websites, the self-learning platform, subscriptions, and live online courses. By creating an account, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Who we are

YouLearnWithUs (“we”, “us”) provides educational services for children and families, including a digital learning platform and live online courses in subjects such as mathematics and coding.

Contact: support@youlearnwithus.se · Phone: 010-4911639.

2. Who may use our services

Our services are intended for use by parents or legal guardians on behalf of children, or by older students with parental consent where required by law.

You must provide accurate registration and payment information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login details secure.

You confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for any child who uses the service under your account.

3. What we provide

Self-learning platform: access to learning content, games, and related features, often via a paid subscription.

Live online courses: scheduled live lessons (for example in math or coding), typically sold as a course package or per agreement confirmed with us.

We may update, add, or remove features. Descriptions on our website are for information; minor changes do not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT where stated. Subscription prices are described on our subscription page (for example monthly or yearly billing).

Payments are processed by Stripe or other providers we designate. You agree to their terms in addition to ours where applicable.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We will give reasonable notice before price changes apply to renewing subscriptions where required by law.

5. Live online courses — booking and delivery

When you register or pay for a live course, you receive access according to the schedule and materials we confirm (by email or in your account).

You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection, and a quiet environment for the child during lessons.

If you miss a lesson without notice, we are not obliged to reschedule or refund that session unless we agree otherwise in writing or the law requires it.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds — live courses (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (or where similar rules apply), you generally have 14 days from the day of purchase to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

To withdraw, contact us at support@youlearnwithus.se with your name, order details, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. We will refund payments received within 14 days using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise.

Important exception — lesson attended: If you (or the child) attend or participate in a scheduled live lesson, you lose the right of withdrawal for that course or the part of the service that has been performed. “Attend” means joining the live session (for example via the link we provide) for any meaningful portion of the lesson, or being marked as present by our teacher or systems.

If you withdraw within 14 days and no live lesson has been attended, we will refund the full amount paid for that course purchase.

After the withdrawal period, or where the exception above applies, fees for live courses are non-refundable except where we choose to offer a credit, where required by mandatory consumer law, or where we have failed to deliver the service as agreed.

7. Digital subscriptions — billing, cancellation, and refunds

Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) give access to the self-learning platform for the paid billing period.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account, the Stripe customer portal, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically delete your account.

When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current paid period (for example until the renewal date shown in your account). We do not refund fees already paid for the current billing period, including yearly plans paid in advance, except where mandatory law requires a refund.

There is no pro-rata refund for unused days or months in a period you have already paid for, unless we are legally obliged to provide one.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly. Chargebacks without contacting us first may lead to suspension of access while the dispute is resolved.

8. Free trials and promotions

From time to time we may offer trials or discounts. Any specific conditions will be stated at sign-up. When a trial ends, paid billing may start automatically if you subscribed through Stripe — check the offer terms before confirming.

9. Intellectual property

All content, software, branding, and materials on our platforms are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them for private, non-commercial learning while your access is active.

You may not copy, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or redistribute our content except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service: no harassment, illegal content, attempts to break security, sharing accounts with unauthorised users, or use that disrupts other learners or our staff.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. Serious breaches may be reported to authorities.

11. Educational disclaimer

We provide educational tools and teaching in good faith but do not guarantee specific grades, exam results, or learning outcomes. Progress depends on the child, home support, and attendance.

Our content is for learning support and is not professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or third-party failures may occur.

We may modify or discontinue features. For paid subscriptions, material adverse changes will be handled in line with applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, data, or goodwill), or for events outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) 500 SEK, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

If you use the service in breach of these terms or applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from reasonable claims, damages, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your misuse, except where caused by our own intentional misconduct or negligence.

15. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy & cookie policy. By using the service you acknowledge that policy.

16. Third-party services

We use trusted providers (for example Stripe for payments and Supabase for authentication and hosting). Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms or for legal compliance, with notice where practicable.

Sections that by nature should survive (including payment obligations accrued, intellectual property, limitations of liability, and governing law) continue after termination.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer in Sweden or the EU, you may also have rights under mandatory local consumer law and may bring disputes to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or your local consumer authority where applicable.

Courts in Sweden shall have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer rules require otherwise.

20. General

If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These terms together with the privacy policy and any order-specific confirmation form the entire agreement regarding the services.

These terms are general information and do not constitute legal advice. For specific legal questions, consult a qualified adviser.
